Hardware stamping is a common and important manufacturing method in the machinery manufacturing industry, and is widely used in the manufacture of metal products in various industries. In short, it refers to the use of stamping equipment to deform metal sheets into parts of a specific shape or size through pressure.

In the field of furniture hardware, the production of most products depends on stamping. Zhuokai has summarized a complete set of overall production processes for furniture hardware stamping with its many years of experience in providing high-quality furniture hardware accessories for global furniture brands.
1. Cutting stage
Before cutting, the furniture hardware stamping process needs to proof the sheet and accurately measure its size, thickness and mechanical properties. Ordinary sheets can be directly stamped by a punch press, while complex products need to go through multiple stages such as sheet metal processing. During the sheet cutting process, professional equipment such as steel shears, hydraulic cutting machines, wire cutting machines, and plasma cutting machines are used.

2. Bending and forming stage
Bending and forming is the core link of metal stamping. There are various processing methods, such as bending and roll bending. During processing, the bending angle, curvature and bending cracks must be strictly controlled to ensure product performance and quality.

3. Punching, shearing and bolting processing stages
This stage involves trimming, deburring, punching and surface processing. During the processing, shearing machines, punching machines and sheet metal processing equipment will be used to achieve punching, shearing, surface processing and other functions.

4. Welding and surface treatment stage
In this stage, suitable processing methods need to be selected according to product characteristics, such as gas welding, argon arc welding, MIG welding and other welding methods, as well as spraying, electroplating, polishing, oxidation and other surface treatment methods. Processors need to strictly control factors such as welding strength and surface treatment quality to ensure the quality of the final product.

5. Quality inspection stage
During the stamping process of furniture hardware, quality inspection is required to discover and correct quality problems. Common inspection methods include appearance inspection, size inspection, hardness inspection, corrosion resistance inspection and fatigue resistance inspection. All products must pass the inspection before leaving the factory.

Advantages of precision stamping of furniture hardware
1. High production efficiency, easy operation, easy to achieve mechanization and automation. Stamping relies on stamping dies and stamping equipment. Ordinary presses can reach dozens of strokes per minute, while high-speed presses can reach hundreds or even thousands of times.
2. The mold ensures the size and shape accuracy of the stamped parts, and the surface quality is not easily damaged. The mold has a long life, so the quality of the stamped parts is stable and the interchangeability is good.
3. Parts with a large size range and complex shapes can be processed. Due to the cold deformation hardening effect of the material during stamping, the strength and rigidity of the product are relatively high.
4. No chips are generated during the stamping process, the material consumption is low, and no additional heating equipment is required. Therefore, it is a material-saving and energy-saving processing method, and the cost of hardware stamping parts is low.
